After school one afternoon Jotham was tired so he was resting, Amariah decided to read him a story. We discovered the next day that he had tonsilitis, all he said was that his neck was sore. Two rounds of antibotics later and he was better. Amariah and her crazy long hair. We also made some crazy forts, they don't come out often, but they are fun when we take the time to build them. They even watched a show from inside it.
Having lots of fun at the park and the backyard when it warmed up for a bit. The snow even started to melt.
Hide and seek has been a favourite around here.
Amariah counting and hiding (pretty sure she hid there before Waylon did). And then they both got under there. Jotham and his lego creation. We finally got around to making some ninja cookies and hello kitty cookies too. There's even a ninja kitty.
A pony ride with Daddy before we went away for a few day.
Waylon has a workers retreat every February so this year my Mom came out to stay with the kids while we went. When we left we had forgotten something so had to stop back at home, Amariah was so mad at me because she had been at the window waiting for us to wave to her as we drove away. We made sure to wave as we left the second time. We had a great time away, it was good to meet other youth pastor's and their wives who Waylon has been connecting with the last few years already. We went for a freezing cold walk around the property one afternoon and were even given gift certificates from a family at our church to use the spa. Grandma and the kids had fun, and by the third night Amariah wasn't quite so mad that I wasn't there at night when she woke up.
It warmed up (for us) again the last couple days Grandma was here so we had some fun building a snowman and playing in the yard.
Amariah also helped Grandma make buns. And both kids helped Grandma with some knitting.
We all went to the city to bring Grandma to the airport, Jotham even got to miss school. After we had fun a costco the kids got to have fun at Chuck E Cheese.
Amariah reading:
Amariah being super helpful in the bathroom (she has her own pile of toilet paper now). Showing off her cute hair clips and pony tails. Playing with the last of the cloud dough. Amariah asked me to show Daddy her outfit so we took a picture to send him. One morning we went out to play in the snow, Amariah asked to warm up with some hot chocolate, so while I was getting it ready I set her up with a blanket and a book to get warm and she fell asleep waiting. After sleeping for an hour she was up for two and then fell back asleep cuddling with me, she was definitely not feeling well and ended up getting her own round of antibiotics for her ear and throat.
We had a little bit of fun with some Valentine's day hair. Amariah has been loving doing her Bubble Guppies water painting book, it air dries so we can do it over and over. Jotham drawing, and Amariah being silly. Me and Amariah in our Wonder Woman shirts.
