Finally an Update

The last month we have finally been able to enjoy some warmer weather. Here's a bit of what we were up to.
  • We started it off with our first snack time picnic with the girls I watch
  • Amariah wearing hand me downs from Jotham
  • Jotham had his second weekend with Ted, the class bear
  • Amariah sleeping on the couch with Daddy when I got home from Bible Study

  • Amariah and I had a fun morning outside playing
  • We went back out in the afternoon, this time with shorts and sunglasses
  • That evening since it was Zeph's edd we had pizza cause that's probably what he would've wanted for a birthday supper
  • Amariah eating her favourite snack - a spoon full of cream cheese
  • Finally got Amariah to stop needing her boots with every outfit, only to be replaced by cute little sneakers, this was what I chose for her to wear for Mother's Day (she changed her shoes at church, she has no problem doing that but insists on the other shoes before that).

  • Mother's day kisses  - took a while to get one with both of them kissing me but then I look silly, oh well.
  • The kids doing their handprints for my card ( i got the same kind of card last year, love them)

  • Amariah has been loving playing with her dolls, and decided the doll and monkey needed their diapers changed so laid out blankets for change mats and got the wipes out
  • Amariah and her Kenyan brothers
  • Amariah napping with her and Jotham's special animals - Jotham said she'd sleep great with both of them making sure she had good dreams.
  • Jotham showing off his new smile
  • Art time (aka keeping busy since Daddy was gone for the long weekend, we also went to the park a few times)

  • I took out the doll clothes for Amariah which are all from when I was little, a bunch my mom made for me, including this hat and the matching doll clothes that fit one of Amariah's dolls perfectly. She loves the clothes, and keeps trying to put them on herself instead of the dolls.
  • First time eating on the deck this year
  • Amariah tried out her strider, she's still a bit small for it
  • Jotham riding his bike
  • Playing football

  • Amariah tried getting her pj's on by herself
  • Playing in the pool
  • Waylon made a garden box in the front of the house, so we had fun planting it this weekend - Amariah did not want to touch the plants
  • Jotham planting one of the zucchini plants
  • Jotham told Amariah stories about an elephant and a kangaroo - she loved it

  • Our two gardens, veggies in the backyard and mostly flowers in the front (and zucchini and pumpkins).
  • Cute muddy feet
  • Playing with the hose
  • Jotham and Daddy put the lion toque on Amariah's cat as they left for church in the morning

  • All dressed up for church and finally able to put the proper shoes on before leaving the house with a dress on
  • A little monkey (Daddy put Jotham up there first, he didn't like it but Amariah wanted a turn next)
  • Teaching Amariah hide and seek - hiding with Jotham on his bed, and the with Daddy behind the table
  • A rainy day, meant boots were out again, and she picked out her hat and jacket. It may not match but it's still cute.
  • Super jammies

  • Ready for bed (and Jotham was helping get a picture of her cape)
  • Being cute and then discovering how fun it is to be upside-down - which was even cuter
