Once October rolled around we attempted to take some fun pictures playing in the leaves. Amariah didn't think it was nearly as fun as Jotham did, maybe she'll like it more next year.
She warmed up after Jotham built a nest for her. She loved having us throw her up in the air. And Jotham happily took over the nest. The boys had some fun building with lego the next day. And Amariah and Daddy had their weekly cuddle while I was out.
Amariah making her first turkey handprint for Thanksgiving. She wasn't so sure about getting her hand painted. Jotham did one too. What we're most thankful for - our precious kids.We brought up the kitchen for Amariah, she was excited about it, and about her super cute outfit. For Jotham's party we had a Rescue Bots / Transformer's/ Cars/ Planes kinda theme. The kids had fun playing some games and eating snacks and cupcakes.
They had lots of fun building airplanes, and Jotham was excited to open up his gifts. Amariah and I had fun with them too. It was a great party with his friends.
Jotham's last night of being 5! and the next morning celebrating be 6 with a Mickey Mouse pancake. After school and gymnastics he got to pick supper, they brought home McDonald's for us. And while picking up a balloon also got Amariah a monkey hat. Happy 6th Birthday Jotham! We love you so much and love watching you become such an amazing little boy. We love how you are so excited to tell your friends about Jesus and that you bring your friends to clubs so they can learn more too. Daddy loves building lego with you and drawing with you. Mommy loves cuddling up with you and reading stories together. Amariah loves to tackle you and take whatever it is you are playing with. We love how you are such a great big brother to her and are a great example for her too. We love seeing how much you love each other and that she doesn't want to let go of you when she gives you a hug before bed. You probably are her favourite. Happy birthday little boy!
Jotham got to be the first one in his class to bring home Ted, the class teddy bear. He came off the bus with an extra suitcase, the bus driver brought it off for him. Jotham was so excited to pick and new outfit for Ted to wear and we talked about what we could do with Ted. He picked new clothes for bed and the next day we took Ted and Amariah for walks in wraps. He also brought Ted to church (who's been there before with other's one of the youth recognized Ted), and then in the afternoon Ted got to go to one of the Seniors homes with Jotham where Waylon was preaching. The next day Daddy dressed Amariah for our morning out doing errands, she was pretty cute.
We had some fun carving pumpkins, Amariah was curious about what was going on but didn't want to touch it when offered. Jotham was finally willing to help again this year, we said we weren't carving anything unless he did. Amariah was having lots of fun making huge splashes in the tub. This year the kids got to wear costumes on Halloween, Jotham was a cute little owl. His class got to go to the hospital to spend some time with the seniors there. We joined him, and Amariah and Daddy came in costume too. In the evening the boys were heading out to trick or treat and Amariah wanted to go too so Daddy strapped her on. She was actually wearing a different costume that you can't see but still with her strawberry hat, she was Spider Berry.
The next day we were off for a fun adventure with the youth...
