The kids having some clean fun together. Amariah gets so excited when she gets to go in the big tub, but its awkward to wash her so it doesn't happen too often. They have fun playing together as long as Jotham doesn't get too loud. Amariah has also been having playtime in her playpen. It's a great safe place for her to be when we need to get things done.
Jotham was given a new bed, two actually since its a bunk bed if we were to set the whole thing up. Waylon is refinishing the one bed (both eventually) so he set one up for Jotham. He loves it. Amariah stole Jotham's cup (he didn't want to spill in the living room, he doesn't usually use these cups), she did pretty good having a few sips from it. Amariah has been pulling up on the couch to stand, apparently life is more fun the more you move. Showing off her cute sweater handmade for her by a friend.
Jotham started getting into fights at school and got hit in the face, you should see the other kid. Perhaps this pacifist family shouldn't joke about fighting :) Jotham has not been fighting! He did get hit in the face by another child's head who was on the swing and Jotham was too close. Jotham got knocked down and covered in wet sand. He was more concerned about being dirty and having to go get cleaned up and missing out on recess than being hurt though. He was pretty excited about getting to wear school pants. Oh and as far as we know the other kid was fine.
Amariah was having some air drying time and decided it would be best to stand. She also started to get up in her crib.
I think we're finally all caught up...
