Nests and Boats

The last bit of January and into February we continued to be busy. One evening Jotham's school had a sleigh ride and hot chocolate night that we went to. It was fun, we stayed nice and warm by the fire and chatted with some friends. We waited a long time for our ride so only the boys went on it as it was started to get too cold for us girls. Jotham has been super helpful at home lately such as making his own toast for a snack when I was feeding Amariah. Another day he was playing with her and had put the blanket over her face and left it that way. I told him that its important not to cover her face and leave her, playing a game where we take the blanket off is different. Jotham decided making her a nest would be fun, that way her face wasn't covered but she was warm and cozy in the blanket. She seemed to like it. 

Amariah was lying on the carpet waiting for me, she had started to watch the Curious George episode Jotham had on. She ended up falling asleep. It didn't last too long, but she sure was cute. Amariah and Daddy were cuddling one afternoon, they were both pretty sleepy. Jotham thought Amariah needed to wear his pirate hat.

Jotham decided to use a box as a boat one afternoon and then thought Amariah might like a turn. She had lots of fun playing in it and even watched us have supper while lying in it. Jotham found the disguising glasses one morning and put them on Amariah - she thought it was pretty funny and she had no idea how cute she looked.
