We got our first real snow the first week of November. Jotham asked for his shovel when he got home from school one day so he could shovel off the deck. I went out with Jotham while Amariah napped one day and then she joined us for the last little bit. She didn't seem to mind the cold too much.
Amariah has been having lots of fun on her playmat. She especially loves it when she's naked! It's just that much easier to kick and roll without clothes or a diaper. Jotham also loves to play with her and the two have fun together as you can see from her smiles.

Jotham wanted to get in on the pictures, so then we took a couple of the two of us. Waylon was away at school for a week and on his second last day we had a winter storm warning, thankfully the teacher finished the class early so Waylon (and others) was able to get home. We got another huge dump of snow the last night. So we bundled Jotham up and sent him to play outside in the backyard the next afternoon. He did pretty good on his own for almost an hour, then I joined him while Amariah napped and Waylon did homework. I love how the house looks all covered in snow - you can also see the nice new white gutters and downspouts we now have.
Seems like the snow is here to stay this year...
