Jotham finally got to be the Special Student on Thursday. He was the very last one in his class to have a turn, he's been waiting over a month. He was so excited about it, he woke up talking about it and even made up a cute little song about it on the drive over. I got to stay with him and see everything he does at school. He got to bring in show and tell, he chose the turtle (Likey) and rabbit (Fuzz Ball) that Waylon had brought home for him from Guatemala. He also had to say who he brought (me) and tell them three things he loves about me. He said "Mommy cuddles with me, paints with me and we do amazing things together." Pretty good answer I think.
Jotham was king for the day so he got to make all the choices. Which welcome song to sing - Welcome Here. What games they played in the gym - the freeze song and obstacle course. Which activity he wanted to play at playtime - sand table with Zoey and Jacey. Where to sit for snack - the circle table and with which friends - Zoey, Emma and Christian. If they should do an Easter egg hunt before going outside - they did and he chose to help hide the eggs. He was also always at the front of the line when walking anywhere.
