Ok, so perhaps I lied. People did comment and I still didn't post. But we've been sick and busy and sick some more, so those are my excuses. We really did do Christmas stuff, here's some of what we did:
Went to the Holiday Train and found Julia and her mom there. We always seem to find them places even without planning it. They had fun dancing to the music and then we went for a walk to look at all the lights. The engineer even blew the whistle and the horn for us - it was loud.
Jotham opened up a belated birthday gift and built it the next week. He's getting really good at building lego all on his own. We did some colouring, wrote Christmas cards and signed his own name, got a cute new hat (and boots) from Auntie Crystal and made him a robot costume. Our family on Christmas Eve and opening presents Christmas morning. Jotham loved everything he got. Waylon got me the game Pitch Car, its super fun and Jotham remembered it and wanted to play it right away. That afternoon we went over to the Jensen's for a delicious Christmas dinner and had fun playing games with them. Jotham keeps asking to go back.
Showing off his hat and boots, and the lego helicopter he built (with some help). His outfit he picked and put on himself - its a little too green. But after recieving a Lion's flag and toque for Christmas he did suggest we give our riders flag to Pastor Chris since that's his team. We build a gingerbread house, Jotham's been enjoying eating the candies off slowly.
We finally took Jotham ice skating. It's kinda tricky, he didn't last too long but we'll try more and it'll get easier. Jotham and I in our matching Batman shirts. If you look close you can see Jotham hiding behind the blankets and under the pillow. He likes to hide on one of us after we've gotten him ready for bed.
So that was December, I'll try to fill you in on January soon...or at least eventually.....
