A few more adventures

We kept pretty busy the last week of August. A picnic in the backyard with the girls, and going to the TSN Kraft Tour. We found Julia and her family there so sat with them for a while. We checked out the cars they had, Jotham's favourite was the one painted with transformers. We missed the free boxes of cookies but did get some candy, juice and hot dogs, did some colouring and of course watched the broadcast. The next day Jotham and I attempted to go to the playplark carnival to end the summer, but it didn't quite work out, so to cheer us both up we went to McDonald's for an ice cream cone and a milkshake.
For our anniversary we packed up and headed to the beach after picking up Subway for a picnic lunch. It was so quiet at the beach, and it was a gorgeous day. We had fun playing in the water and building sand castles.
We found lots of frogs and Waylon caught some for us to see. Jotham loved it. We had a great time, not sure why it was the first (and only) time we went there this summer.
After we got home we all got ready to go out for supper. Jotham took some pictures for us too. We walked to the restaurant and then picked up slushes on our way home.
The next week Waylon took a day off work so we could get some stuff done in the city. While our car was being fixed we had them drop us off at one of the malls so we could do some shopping and then went over to Chuck E Cheese's to play. Jotham had lots of fun. Before we left the city we went to a park that has a few animals to see, there was a pool too and a carpet slide but we got there pretty late in the day and the slide was closed already, but did have a good walk for a bit checking out the animals and then playing in the playground. Its a free park too, so if we're around here next year we'll check it out again since its now closed until spring.
That's all for now, I'll get to our September adventures soon...
