March ~ Part 2

After our fun in Vancouver, we went to Langley and got to hang out with April and Danny and their kids. We finally got to see their new house too, which probably doesn't seem that new to them anymore but we hadn't been there yet. The kids had lots of fun playing together, we were so thankful to be able to get together. These are the pictures I got, April has a better one of Jotham and Josiah but for now this is what we have. Jotham and Avery had fun cooking and then the boys were playing a letter matching game.
The next day we went to Jon and Ang's place. Jotham and Lynnea had a playtime earlier that day at Grandma's but this time he got to see all of her toys and they had fun dressing up and riding their horses or whatever they were -Waylon was a donkey I've been told. It was great hanging out with them, and we came up with a great plan of going out for supper and leaving the kids with Grandma and Grandpa the next week.
Thursday afternoon we headed out to Chris and Nicole's, Jotham and Nadiya attempted playing together. Jotham also held Kivryn and Nadiya joined in on the pictures. Another friend, Merida joined us for supper, we had some yummy Indian food we really miss having that kind of variety of foods out here. It was nice to catch up, but I forgot to take pictures while we were together. On Friday we went swimming with Grandma and Ang and Lynnea, Jotham was so tired after that I put him down for his nap at 11. Waylon and I went to the mall for a bit and found a ceramics place that we went back to on Saturday morning with Jotham and he painted some mugs for all his grandparents. They turned out great. We also went for many walks to get the mail at Grandma's. Friday evening we left Jotham with Grandma and Grandpa and went over to Waylon's cousins for a game night. It was fun to see everyone who could come, and the boys enjoyed beating the girls at win, lose or draw.
After Jotham finished his mugs we were off to Mission for a few days. Jotham was so excited to discover that Oma and Opa live in the forest, somehow we managed not to go exploring, even though we had his boots and rain stuff with us and could have gone. We left Jotham there Saturday evening (out without him two days in a row - its sure handy having family around to watch him) and hung out with Jordan and learned some new games. Chris and Nicole and the girls were out in Mission too, so we were able to visit lots over the weekend, and had fun going to the pool all together. Jotham also helped Oma make a lemon pie. And because I think its funny, the only two times on our trip that Jotham had to tell people to stop fighting was while we were in Mission, Jotham doesn't like it when anyone is fighting and so he told Waylon to stop fighting with Uncle Jeremy and with Opa :) .
On the Sunday while in Mission, Jotham, Waylon and I went out with Crystal and Jen, and once agian forgot to take pictures. It was nice that our trip overlapped with Jen's trip so we could see her, and that Crystal took the bus down from Kamloops just to have lunch with us.

So that's where we're at so far and there's still over a week left of our trip....
