This is our tree how it looked with (almost) all of the presents on Christmas Eve morning. Jotham and Waylon added one in the evening, and we realized the next day we forgot one in the closet. Jotham was having fun making silly faces, this is his sad, pirate and sleeping expressions. He still wanted to do silly faces in the evening when we did our family pictures, so we have a sad face one.
This is just after Jotham had opened his toy from Gramma and Grampa while waiting for Daddy to get the box open for him, he was very excited about this gift. Oh and he's holding his own Wii remote and playchuck we got him that are his size.
Daddy had a nap in the morning, Jotham thought it'd be a good place to sit. We were invited over to one of the families from church, also one of Waylon's co-workers. They live on a a farm a half hour drive away so we stopped at a park on the way there. It was a lot colder than we thought it would be, but we had a fun 10 minutes in the snow.
We had a fun time at the Morris's, we played games with the kids, they have lots of kids (eight actually), and Waylon got to go snowmobiling. Jotham had a great time playing with a couple of the younger girls. And we enjoyed having people to spend the day with and getting to eat turkey and hang out with them. I tried to get a picture of Jotham with the girls colouring but they were cleaning up once I got my camera out. Jotham missed his nap so was very tired and slept the whole way home.
Waylon went to play Santa for some friends nieces and nephews and also got to help with a surprise of the arrival of a family member whom they had not seen in two years. Jotham and I attempted to video chat with my family but Jotham was a bit too grumpy for that having been woken up, we still managed to see everyone a little bit, which was nice.
So that was Christmas...
