August Adventures

Last week we kept pretty busy. There were lots of fun things going on in the mornings at the family center so Jotham and Daddy headed there a couple times, and then every afternoon we had 5 Day Backyard Club. If you're wondering what that is, its a VBSish type program where a leader (youth age), comes to someones backyard and teaches the kids Bible stories and does memory verses and lots of songs. It was at Jotham's friends Jacks house, neither of which are technically old enough for the club, and for 4 of the days it was just the two of them, but we had more kids come on Friday. Jotham now knows a few Bible verses (or at least he did last week), and has some fun new songs to listen to. We had a lot of fun at it, maybe when Jotham is older we'll have another chance to go to one. I didn't get any pictures of it, which is why you got a long story instead. Here are some pictures of the rest of our week.

Daddy taking a picture of Jotham with our homemade camera.
Fishing in the pool.
Learning to float.
And doing a great job of it.
Where Daddy found him hiding while playing hide and seek.
Playing games at the play park carnival.
Searching for Gold.
Jotham thought the bubble wrap made a good blanket.
Helping Daddy put flour in the bowl for a pie.
(There is no pie picture cause we ate most of it already.)
Pretending to be a super hero in a cape.
We've also started doing some packing, we don't know for sure where we'll be moving to, but even if we end up staying here we'd rather find a house to rent than the apartment so we figured we might as well start packing things up. That's all for today...
