Cute Things Jotham Says Part 3

Here are some more of the many things Jotham says that we want to remember from the last couple months, with some pictures from the last week or so. 

• "No! More talk" - what Jotham says when Grandma asks him to say goodbye while talking to her on the phone (February, 2010).
• "No Mommy, no take pictures of me" - He was playing so nice on his own with his potato heads and I wanted to capture the moment (February 14, 2010).
• "Jacks very loud" - said after coming home from Dawson's birthday party. Waylon was just about to tell me a story of how quiet Jotham is when Jotham piped up from the backseat with that (February 18, 2010).

• "chupchup" - Ketchup (February 22, 2010).
• While playing in the playroom together Jotham ran over to me and gave me a big hug and said, "I love you Mommy" - best moment ever! (February, 20, 2010).
• While talking about how big Jotham is getting, Waylon was commenting how Jotham was taller than me (I was sitting and Jotham was climbing up my back). We asked how big daddy was and Jotham said, "Tall" and we asked what he was, "Jotham's big", and then Waylon asked about Mommy, "Mommy huge". Great, thanks Jotham... (February 27, 2010).

• "Ready not, here come" - said while playing hiding seek with his bath toys, which he first hid and then covered his eyes to count (March 1, 2010).
• "Ok, sounds great" - said after telling him we could go outside to play after we get boots and snowpants on (March 3, 2010).
• "Yessir" - he's started adding sir every time he says yes, I have no idea where he got this from, but would really rather him not call me sir. I'm trying to get his to say "yes mommy" it works sometimes (March 2010).

• "Daddy kidding me" - said after Jotham saw we had pulled up to the pool and said we were going swimming and Daddy told him that we were just going to go to the library. Such a smart little boy (March 5, 2010).
• "Look Mommy Princess... one, two Princesses" - said when he saw two of the bridesmaids in the bathroom before a wedding we went to (March 6, 2010).
• "No think so" - Jotham's favourite phrase today, sometimes used in context and sometimes not (March 8, 2010).

• Jotham has recently begun wanting to wash his hands before picking up his cup if his hands are messy from his food (March 2010).
• "Peppecroni" - Jotham's word for macaroni, he used to say it properly but then we had pepperoni one time, and since then he's mixed the two up and uses them for both. I'm trying to get him to call it mac and cheese now, he told Daddy we had "Cheese croni, hot dogs" doesn't get it quite yet (March 2010).

• "Coke's all gone, buy some more daddy... grocery list" (March 9, 2010).
• "Hug, kiss hallway," - said to Daddy in the mornings before he leaves or to which ever of us is going out (March 2010).
• "Watch ep'sode Clifford" or Tigger, or Boz (March 2010).
• "I wanna go bug daddy...please mommy.... bug daddy" - Daddy was still sleeping, but he asked so nicely so we did go bug him for a few minutes (March 13, 2010).

• A conversation in the car: 
  
  
  •  M: Jotham look there's a dog on the yard 
  •  J: I wanna have it
  •  M:You want the dog 
  • J:Yes 
  • M:We're not allowed to have a dog in our apartment we'd get in trouble
  •  J: I want trouble... (March 16, 2010).

• "Not quite yet" - he got this phrase from me, but its so much cuter when he says it, which is often (March 2010).
• Jotham wanted to pray some more after we had already prayed before bed, so Waylon told him he could pray in his head. Jotham promptly put his head down on his bed and lifted his bum up in the air, and said, "Like this, in my head". He seems to have mixed up in and on, it was so cute (March 20, 2010).

• "Jopham grow-up Tigger, Daddy grow up Eeorye, Mommy grow-up Piglet" - it changes often who we will grow up to be, he comes up with all sorts of ideas all day long including helicopters, tigers, lions, sheep, Clifford and other characters from shows, and sometimes he includes what his friends Dawson and Micah will be when they grow up (March 2010).
• "Go, Go, Canada!! Go, Go, Canada!! Wohoo!" - what Jotham said when I turned the hockey game on this evening (April 2, 2010).

• "Jesus is big.....like a cow!" (April 8, 2010).
• "Squeeze, big hug" - said any time he's giving or wants a hug (April 2010).
• "Grandpa fix it" or "Grandpa find it" - said many times a day if Jotham thinks something needs fixing or finding (April 2010).
• "Batter up!" (April 28, 2010).

• J- "Be like Jon grow up" M-"You want to be like Uncle Jon when you grow up?" J-"Ya, and Daddy grow up be like Uncle Jon too" (April 24thish 2010).
• "Buy more money" - said after I tried to explain that some things are expensive and we need money to buy them (April 25th, 2010).
• "Mommy loves Jopham, Daddy loves Jopham, Grandpa loves Jopham, and Julia loves Jopham too" (April 29, 2010).

And for a little 30 months or 2 1/2 year old up date: Jotham weights 28 pounds 1.28 ounces and is 34.5 inches tall. In theory when he grows up he'll be 5'9".  Waylon thinks he'll be a couple inches taller than that, guess we'll have to wait and see.
