Jotham and Nadiya's Adventures

We had a fun time with Nicole and Nadiya while they were here for a visit. And took lots of pictures since we get so few times to take pictures of the kids together, and this was the first time they really attempted playing together.

These first two pictures are from the first night after Waylon had picked the girls up from the airport. Jotham had been asleep but when he woke up I let him come see them. Before going back to bed he needed a story, so Nadiya joined him. The next morning they exchanged presents, Nadiya's was for her first birthday that she celebrated a week before they came, I think Jotham's was a Christmas gift, maybe.  Nadiya didn't like Jotham's playpen for sleeping in, but they were both content to sit and read in it. And then we have our two little Tiggers, its fun to have almost matching jammies.
Jotham and Nadiya dancing together, and then having a bath together. Jotham had been talking about sharing his bath with Nadiya for a few days before they arrived. They didn't really play together but it went ok, Nadiya was busy trying to stand which caused few falls for her.  And then Jotham learned that more than just his toys could go in his wagon, so we had some rides.
Though it was -10 or so, Nicole said it wasn't a trip to SK unless we went out in the cold, so we bundled up on the warmest day and headed out to the park. Jotham said "Nadiya squishing me" which was true, but it was the best way for them both to ride. He didn't want to ride that way on the way home though so Nadiya had the sled to herself. We actually remembered Jotham's hockey sticks to he got to play hockey at the park.
Some swinging and sliding fun.
Jotham had a birthday party one evening so Waylon took him while us girls went out for supper. Nadiya was much to interested in what was going on around her to eat.  Jotham and Nicole were having some fun making faces and chatting together, we also realized there were no pictures of Nicole and Jotham so used that as a good time to do so.
We also realized we hadn't played Jotham's favourite game, hide and seek, so we did that on Friday night. Waylon and Nadiya were looking for Jotham and Nicole. Jotham needed some reminding to stay quiet. The last picture of me and Jotham isn't from while the others were here, but we' re cute so I added it.
We had a fun visit filled with lots of memories, hopefully we'll get to visit more often soon...
