Here are some of the fun family pictures my Dad took for us when they visited us at the end of November to go along with the many cute things Jotham says. We're trying to write things down now when they happen, and also have some others we remember happening that had not been written down. Enjoy.
- "Come on cowboy" - said first when we were leaving for church one morning and continued to say it each time we got in the car for about a week. (January 2010).
- "Starflake" - instead of snowflake (January 2010).
- "So close"- said when he almost does something or he sees us almost do what we're trying, he says it often when watching us play games on the Wii, which may also be where he learned it from, (February 2010).
- "Nice Mommy kitty" - what I woke up to Jotham saying to me while stroking my face (January 2010).
- "Elumper/elethumper" - for an elephant (January 2010).

- "bye, go church" - Jotham would often pretend to go to church while playing (November/December 2009).
- "No kiss" - said mostly to Waylon when he would give Jotham a kiss after buckling him in his carseat, Waylon would also make it into a game and give him lots of kisses (mostly in November 2009).
- For about a month Jotham would give us each about 20 or more kisses, standing in between us and turning from one to the other. It was so cute. If he missed our lips he'd hold our face in his hands to make sure he got our lips. (Novemberish 2009).
- Jotham would also give one of us at a time lots of kisses. If we started counting them he'd keep going, I got up to 25 in row. (Octoberish 2009).
- "Chop chop", said to hurry us up, he learned this from Waylon, though Jotham doesn't always use it in the right context (January 2010).
- "mush-mush" which means mustache (January 2010).
- "bone" - the weights mommy works out with he gave it to the dog to eat (January 2010).

- "Taste chocolate" - when he pretends to eat anything that's brown, hair, clothes, his puppy (December 2009).
- Jotham named the polar bear up on the playroom wall "Lion" and he remembers that's the name. (January 2010).
- "Bundteteller" - Jotham's first german word - its the tin of choc0late treats Oma and Opa sent for christmas. Often referred to as "Grandma make you" because we told him that Oma made it for him. (December 2009).
- "Danke schoen" - Jotham's second German word. (January 2010).
- "Special Grandma make you" - what Jotham refers to the Winnie the Pooh quilt Grandma made for him which I told him was a special blanket because grandma made it for him. Has also grown to refer to any of the other many receiving blankets and sheets she also made (November 2009).

- "No, legs" - what he says when he doesn't want to wear pants (January 2010).
- "Rock, rock, rock" - Jotham begun wanting a hug with both of us before bed, and he decided we needed to rock while did so. We do this almost every night and have been since last winter I think. (February 2009ish).

- We heard Jotham say something like, "My basebook all Clifford nose" it took us a moment to realize he meant "My bicycle all covered with snow". It was a good effort. (February 10, 2010).
- "Mommy Mary, Daddy Jophes, Jopham Jesus" - Jotham figured out they they were a family just like us (January 2010), I don't think he said this before Christmas at least.
- "Wow, make chocolate poop" - (February 12, 2010).
- "So heavy" - said when trying to climb up on the couch or a chair and he's having a hard time, also said if something really is heavy. (January/February 2010).
