Christmas Adventures

Last Saturday we headed out to the mall for breakfast with Santa. We had a yummy breakfast of pancakes and sausages, and then Jotham got to see Santa. Jotham was watching Santa and the other kids while we waited and ate, but when it was actually his turn, he didn't want to get too close.
He did willingly take the bag from Santa which had a few little treats including a small colouring book and some paper reindeer antlers.
Speaking of reindeer, we got to have our picture taken with a real live one. Once again Jotham was so excited about the reindeer, watching it while we waited and wanting to see it up close , but when I took him to sit down he didn't want to. So we all sat down, which I think was more fun anyway. So this is our family picture with Prancer.
We've been on the search for a new ornament for Jotham as we get him one every year, and we wanted an ornament or something to remember Zephaniah too. Waylon has been wanting penguins for us, and we were happy to find these when we went searching on Monday. The egg is for Zephaniah, we made that one.

Our little penguin family.
On the tree.

Until next time...

Well he will warm up to Santa as he gets older. Just tell him that Opa is a good friend of Santa and that he was at your house and spoke to you when you were a little boy like Jotham. Truly touching pictures.
Love Oma & Opa.
