Last Monday was the perfect day to carve a pumpkin (cause Waylon's off then), so we went to the store and picked one up. Sadly, there's no pumpkin patch around here, the closest is 3 hours away, I was very disappointed to discover that. We somehow survived with out one though and still got a great pumpkin.
Jotham wasn't so into putting his hands into the pumpkin goo, but was fine using a spoon to play with it.
We threw some seeds into the pumpkin once it was all cleaned out and then he was willing to reach it. Of course he also thought it was a fun game and wanted to keep putting in seeds and taking them out.
"Carving" our pumpkin. We didn't come up with using the potato head pieces ourselves, some of our friends did it last year, its a fun idea though. The giant pieces were very useful for this.
Jotham knew exactly where to put the pieces.
How are pumpkin looked during the week, though he did have ears, but we took off the mustache. Our pumpkin had a short lifespan, and had imploded on himself by Friday morning. It was fun while it lasted.
The stores in the Mall were handing out candy this afternoon, so we dressed up our little Tigger and took him out.
Here are the boys walking through the mall, passed all the empty store fronts (its not much of a mall).
We're done, and had a great time.
Jotham did a great job and learned to say "tricky treat" and always said thank you to everyone who gave him a treat. Waylon made a video of Jotham in all his cuteness.
Hope you enjoyed that... talk to Waylon if you didn't.
