This week started off great, we took our cute little boy to the Family Centre and had lots of fun building towers with the playmats and watching him climb everywhere. He had a great time. (Look how cute he is with his hands in his pockets.)
But that night Jotham woke up screaming that his neck was sore. Having experienced this already in the summer we knew he probably had Rhy neck again. This is how Jotham spent most of Tuesday, lying on the couch watching movies. We also took him to the doctors to make sure it wasn't anything more than a sore neck. Moving him was so hard hearing him scream in pain every time. So we didn't move him too often, he did sit in his high chair for a change for a while since it nicely reclines. His favourite place was definitely the couch, we won't tell you exactly how much TV he watched, but it was a lot.
Jotham also kicked Daddy out of his spot in our bed, as moving Jotham in and out of his crib was more difficult.
Jotham continued to be in pain until Wednesday, we don't really know when he got better, we think he was too scared to try moving his head because it had hurt, so then he just wouldn't move it. But Waylon came to rescue us at lunch on Wednesday and while putting Jotham down for his nap convinced Jotham to keep his neck straight, and slowly he was willing to move his head on his own. It was so nice to not have him scream every time he moved, my mommy heart was very broken every time we moved him. Here he is that afternoon, playing away and ready to cheer for the Canucks.
Thursday Jotham had two friends over to play that I was looking after, they had a great time playing together. And made little turkey handprints for their thanksgiving art. This morning we woke up to snow. Its been very cold lately -outside only though, our apartment is much too warm, we haven't even turned our heat on, I guess that's how it goes being on the third floor. Anyway, there wasn't much snow, but enough on our deck to go out and play for a bit. Here's Jotham getting ready, we added some babylegs to his shorts and t-shirt to keep him warmer.

That was our week so far, we're looking forward to Grandma and Grandpa coming tomorrow for a visit. We're also looking forward to eating turkey...
All bundled up.
Washing the snow off his trike.
Checking out the snow.
Jotham loved being out in the snow, he didn't even care that is was -15 with the windchill (which I didn't realize until later, but on the deck we didn't get much wind).
