We've been keeping busy this last week with flooding, visiting and spending time outside - without snow. The flooding isn't too bad, its all along the back wall of the house, in Jotham's playroom and in the back room that we have nothing in. The owners came yesterday and sucked up the water from the carpet and gave us a $100 :) There's pictures of the rest of what we've been up to, so I'll just tell you about those.
Jotham thought he should learn a bit about parenting, guess we aren't doing a good enough job :) Sleeping all cute - he had been even cuter but moved when I went to take the picture. He loves to stand on the giraffe - which is its intended use, and here is he finger painting.

Decorating Easter Eggs...

...the eggs in a basket.

On Sunday we were invited to some friends for lunch, Jotham had lots of fun playing with the toy guitar, and has since inherited one of their extra guitars. He loves it and dances around while holding it. We had a good time visiting and the boys had fun playing together, Jack is almost a year older than Jotham. On Monday we headed out to Montmartre (pronounced "mo-mar" which makes no sense at all) to visit with my cousin Lewis and his family and my Uncle Vern and Aunt Sue were visiting them as well. It was great to visit with family. We had a great time, and will hope to visit with them again. It was a quicker drive there then we expected, and a bit different than expected - we got to drive down a gravel highway for 39 kms. (You know you're in Saskatchewan when...)

Here's a little bit of our park fun. This is the first time Jotham's really played at a park, as I'm sure the pictures show, he loved it. This park is along a path that actually has some hills on it, real hills I promise. So we now also have a favourite place to go for walks. We've had some beautiful sunny weather and no sign of snow for now.

We picked up a little monkey backpack for Jotham that is also a harness, which will be handy when he wants to walk but we don't want him walking far. It's pretty cute. Today it looks like Abbotsford outside, we actually have rain, but it reminds me of home, so I don't mind at all....And because he's cute...
