Jotham is 18 months old today. So I thought I would let you know a bit about Jotham at 18 months (cause usually I don't tell you anything about him... oh wait...).
Jotham loves to play games that involve hiding, either behind his own hands, under a blanket, the little mouse game, or around the house, he even took turns with Daddy the other evening hiding and finding each other (he's almost ready for hide and seek). He thinks its funny if we scare him, or throw him in the air. He loves to dance, listen to music or play his piano or guitar. He loves going for walks in the wrap and stroller, playing outside at home or the park and on his climber and slide inside. He loves to get Daddy to juggle for him. He loves to be tickled and to give zerberts, kisses and hugs. He loves watching his DVD's or movies of himself or other babies.
Words Jotham says or signs (mostly says though): Mama, Dada, More, Please, Juggle, Water, Milk, Car, Bath, Wash, Cracker, Apple, Yay, Hi, Thank-you, All Done, Bye, Myra, Baby, Grandma, Na-na (for Nadiya and Lynnea and Banana), No, Yes, Cheese, Snack, Grapes, Ball, Bear, Book, Key, Colour, Hair, Eye, Nose, Ear, Soft, Sock, Shoes, Go, Light, Brush Teeth, Belly, Toes, Hat, Me, Brrr, All Gone, Star, Walk, Roll, Uh-Oh, Wait, Cloth, Open, Yum-Yum, Wow, Down-stairs, Cookie, Tickle, Weee!... (plus the others that I forget). He keeps saying new words every day, and has added a few today - cookie and walk.
Animal actions or sounds: Fish, Gorilla, Giraffe, Moo, Meow, Woof, Baa, Maa, Quack, Roar, Cheep, Grrrr, Grunt/Snort (for a pig), Neigh, He-haw, Honk (for noses and geese)... I'm sure there are more here too...
You'll have to wait for his weight and height, he did have a doctors appointment today, but here in SK there is no such thing as a Well Baby check up. Our nurse practitioner from home had told us to come in when he was 18 months so we went, the doctor here said we should move back to BC. He has his immunizations on the 5th, so he'll get weighed and measured then.
Grandma arrived yesterday and Jotham has already been having lots of fun having her here. We went for a walk today (though the above walk pictures are from Monday), and to a garage sale where Jotham got a few books, and Jotham had another haircut this evening (as seen in the before and after pics above).

Until next time....
