First a picture of Jotham from last week, his shirt says "Little Prince", not sure its quite true in this picture.
We decided to have an adventure on Saturday and went on a roadtrip. We kept hearing about Minot ND from people around here, so figured we should go check it out for ourselves. And once we saw the name of a store there, we HAD to go, (you'll see why later). So we got ready and drove the half hour or so to the border through a lot of fog, it was a very quiet drive as Jotham fell asleep within 15 minutes of leaving and slept until we needed to stop for gas, which was over an hour past the border. We were only 10 miles from our goal at that point, but the light had been flashing for about 40km already - we were very thankful to find a town with a gas station.

The reason we HAD to go to Minot to the Dakotasquare Mall was this:
There is a store named "Klix". How cool is that. (yes i would think it was even cooler if it was a store named "Froese", but it's been 7 1/2 years, I'm warming up to the name). Waylon was pretty excited, we were really hoping to find some clothing with the logo on it, but no such luck and there wasn't anything we wanted to buy. We did find a few things in other stores, cute shirts for Jotham, fun new bibs (that you'll see later) and a little toilet for Jotham (which he's not too interested in yet, but loves playing with the box). It was a nice mall though and there were other places in town we'll look around at another time when its warmer out, and we'll make sure to get some cold-stone ice cream next time, it was -10 out or so, not really ice cream weather, though it was tempting. Here's a picture of North Dakota, we were excited to find some rolling hills.
Here's Jotham keeping busy on the drive home (he was only up for about 30 minutes before sleeping most of the drive again - driving during nap time works really well).

There were all these hills with numbers written on them with rocks, we don't know exactly why, but we're guessing its a grad thing, the earliest was a 60-something I think, one year had state champs written under it as well.
It was a very fun trip, it was nice to get out of Estevan and see other places, not that it looked much different of course, but still nice to do something different.
These are Jotham's new boots that I love already. I had looked at these boots before we moved, and should have bought them early this year, but that's fine, its still snowy and cold here, so they'll be great the rest of this winter, and without the liner will still be great for rainy days and they will still fit next winter.

Jotham didn't want to stop moving for a picture.

Trying out the boots, they work very well.

Crystal and Dean- this picture is for you, Jotham is much
cuter than us that's why we mostly have pictures of him :).

One of the new bibs we got. The next picture
shows the writing better, but I like the pouty face.

That's all the pictures for today. Waylon has been busy this week (like every week), but this time working on his first sermon. He's preaching on Saturday night at a youth service, so feel free to pray for him as he prepares for this, I'm sure he'd appreciate it. Have a good week, oh and leave a comment, we really like them, and otherwise we don't know you're reading this.....
